This Hairdresser Encourages Women To Embrace Their Gray Hair Instead Of Hiding It

Hair is the most important thing to improve your beauty but when you get old that becomes an issue because your hair inevitably starts greying and you’ll face two options – either embrace it or continue dyeing it on the salon for the rest of your life.

Embrace it I think it is a great solution but it can be a tough job, and to do that you need this hairdresser called Jack Martin from California who helps women to love their natural hair by giving them a makeover two or three times a year, instead of every few weeks.

It all started three years ago when a woman came to Martin Salon she was tired of embracing her hair every 3 to 4 weeks and wanted to enjoy her retirement with freedom. Jack and the client both decided to make it silver, which would give her natural gray hue slightly more polish, which would allow the woman to visit salons less often.

Eventually, the woman loved the result, and Jack too, and he posted pics of the transformation on his Instagram account, and soon the picture went viral and that bringing the customers to Martin to do the same.

“My clients with naturally gray hair come two or three times a year, instead of every few weeks,” Martin told Allure.

Usually, this kind of makeover takes about 10 hours involving remove any remaining artificial color. Then, he bleaches the rest of the head to prep hair for the new silver color while preserving the roots. Check out the rest of Jack’s works in the gallery below!
