What is Melanoma Cancer?
Melanoma cancer is a type of skin cancer that develops in the cells that produce melanin, which gives skin its color, and has the highest risk of death, as the arms, back, face, and legs. It is often caused by exposure to ultraviolet (UV) radiation from the sun or tanning lamps and beds. Melanoma is considered the most serious form of skin cancer because it can spread to other parts of the body if not detected and treated early.

Symptoms Of Melanoma:
Early diagnosis of melanoma cancer may be important because it is highly treatable. Symptoms of melanoma cancer can vary, but some common signs to look out for include changes in the size, shape, or color of a mole or other skin lesion. This could include asymmetry, irregular borders, color variations, and a diameter larger than a pencil eraser. Other symptoms may include itchiness, tenderness, or bleeding of a mole or skin lesion.
